because I have posted my rental experience and talked about buying a house before. Many people have asked me about decoration. I'll probably write about it.

the time when I bought a house was August 2015. I really lived in May 2016, nearly ten months before and after, it was really a pair of bitter tears.

1. Choose a decoration company

when I signed a house purchase contract in August, when I went online to sign taxes and other procedures, I began to look for reliable decoration companies. There is a decoration team introduced by friends, app with a lot of advertisements, and Internet decoration that has been used by friends. It is briefly summarized as follows:

because of the large proportion of human factors and strong uncontrollability, I gave up this road after making preliminary contact with the two decoration teams. After all, I am the first time to decorate and basically a person to decide, or hope to find a relatively standardized company.

2, app with a lot of advertisements

because I was reacted too many times, I left my own message after reading the website. The customer service contacted me that night, and the efficiency was good, but the Mandarin of the customer service was so strong that I needed to work very hard to understand what she meant. At that time, because she still needed to confirm some information before she could call me back, she made an appointment to call me the next morning. Because the next day happens to be the weekend, I especially emphasize: be sure not to be too early. I can do it after ten o'clock. Please don't call before. The client said he understood.

as a result, I was woken up by the phone bell from eight o'clock the next morning. I was really angry when I looked at the number. I hung up and went back to sleep. as a result, the persevering customer service kept calling, calling every 20 minutes. I was so devastated that I picked up the phone and said, didn't you say yesterday that we would call after 10: 00? Customer service said: but four even eight o'clock mulberry class ah!

3, Internet decoration used by friends

to be honest, I agree with the concept of Internet decoration, process management, cheap price and controllable budget. But the actual communication, for me, the decoration materials are too few options, and irreplaceable. For example, I said that I do not want cabinets, my cabinets bought separately, the answer is no, the overall package can not do any increase or decrease, can only be in the existing design and color material choice, plus money can not be changed.

so after nearly two months of choice, I finally decided on an established decoration company.

II, space planning

the original appearance of my house: 82 flat one bedroom and one living room, the right hand entering the door is the bathroom, the kitchen, and the left hand across the corridor is the bedroom. My personal favorite is the balcony, which is more than five meters wide. Because the number of floors is high enough, the window is big enough, so the field of view is more open.

in terms of planning, my architect friend said something I particularly agree with: all designs will be covered by the traces of life, so don't count on the designer, the best way is to stay in the house by yourself. think about how things work best for you.

so I planned the following plan, and roughly talked about my plan:

1, the corridor entering the door

designed a whole wall of storage cabinets, followed by cabinets for vacuum cleaners, hanging clothes and seatable areas, glass door shoe cabinets (upper half bags), acrylic door shoe cabinets, lockers.

facts have proved that the effect is very good, one is that the storage function is invincible, and the other is that the shoe cabinet of the glass door has a strong display function, and there is no more entanglement in choosing shoes when going out.

(actually it can be better, but because it is all my ultra-high heel shoes and bags, it is still not displayed)

2, bathroom

the original bathroom has only a bathtub included in the fine decoration given by the developer, and there is no shower room. I put the original location of the washing machine in a shower room and gritted my teeth to keep the bathtub.

it turns out that the bathtub is not as low as many friends say, at least I like it very much, and because the bathtub is very square, and in order to cooperate with me, even the toilet is square, so that even if there are a lot of things in the bathroom, but it doesn't seem too cramped.

3, kitchen

because you want to move the washing machine into the kitchen, the original L-shaped cabinet design cannot hold so many objects. In the end, I chose the U-shaped design, including the refrigerator, oven, washing machine and dishwasher. The product designer said that I had never done such a humble design.

it turns out that the dishwasher is an artifact! Very useful, especially glassware washing, it almost cures me as a Virgo type A blood every minute; under the premise of reasonable planning, the function of the kitchen is very powerful, and since I can only enter the kitchen alone in my house, so I don't feel crowded at all.

there is also a large double-door refrigerator that has not been photographed on the side, can it be plugged very much;)

4, living room

living room does not have a very special design, just made a wall bookcase, and made a locker on the balcony. Choose a foldable sofabed when choosing furniture, which is very practical when watching TV.

it turns out that there is never too much storage space, and the locker on the balcony is connected to my clothes rack.(in order not to destroy the view of the big balcony, I don't have a clothes pole.) and folding chairs that are not usually used can be included, which is very convenient.

5, the bedroom

bedroom dismantled a wall, built a new cloakroom, and I moved the dresser into the cloakroom, so that make-up and clothes selection can be done in the cloakroom. At the same time, it also solves the problem of rushing the bathroom caused by girls' makeup for too long when two people live.

III. Precautions

1. Keep a good relationship with the foreman

although I am looking for a decoration company that is famous for its high cost, the actual workers are not that different. I once talked to my master. An ordinary demolition master earns 200 a day, and the company manages the money I charge for demolition. Well, I won't say it.

in short, many newly built projects, such as water, electricity and ceiling, can communicate more with the foreman, which may save some expenses.

2. Strong when it's time to be strong

because I am staring at the decoration alone from beginning to end, I probably think that the little girl (who paints herself with green paint) is easier to fool, so there has been procrastination in the construction period. I called the project housekeeper several times but advised me to wait, but did not solve the problem at all. In vain of communication, I sent a complaint directly. As a result, I never took the initiative to contact my housekeeper in half an hour and promised to solve it immediately.

3. Customized furniture

because of the price, I customized the whole bedroom cloakroom, entry locker, bookcase, balcony locker, but Ikea bought the TV cabinet, bedroom wardrobe and balcony table. The result is that all the custom furniture is very satisfactory to me, one is the quality, the other is because the size is completely right, there are no gaps in front of the ceiling and walls, and the integrity is particularly strong. On the contrary, the quality of the furniture I bought is proportional to the price, but it is not too demanding, but it is true that the world does not rely on the wall, especially the wardrobe is more obvious, which can be regarded as a small mistake in decoration.

4, the budget is really controllable

in the two months before the start of decoration, in addition to looking for the decoration company, there is also a very important task is to make the decoration budget. Collect all kinds of information, make a comprehensive comparison of their own needs, and finally confirm the overall budget scope.

in order to control the budget well, I have made an excel table to mark different types of projects with different colors. Many people may think that decoration must be over budget and planning can not keep up with the changes.

but I am proud to say that after the final overall renovation, my total cost is: (budget-700 yuan). Not bad, huh? Ha ha.

the advantage of budgeting is that you can communicate with designers, product specialists, etc., all the materials should be beautiful and practical while taking into account the budget, although I have made a lot of trouble with my main materials and designers, but the effect is also very obvious.

so much has been sorted out so far, because the photography technique is very poor, and the photos taken are limited, many of which are taken when they have just moved in and haven't packed up yet. Home is a little bit of accumulation, so many places have not been fully reflected.
